Crown Coliseum
The Coliseum is the building most people mean when they say "the Crown." It is home ice for the Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League, and the official site says the Marksmen play their home games there from October through April. Concerts, family shows and other ticketed events also use the Coliseum. The Ticket Office is at the Coliseum's main entrance on the north side.
Crown Expo Center and Ballroom
The Expo Center is the flat-floor hall for trade shows and consumer expos, and the official site's event listings use the name "Crown Expo." The ballroom handles weddings, banquets and corporate meetings, booked through the site's Plan Your Event section.
Crown Theatre and Crown Arena: Renovation Plans
The Theatre and Arena date to 1968, older than the Coliseum. Cumberland County commissioners voted in June 2025 to stop construction of the planned downtown Crown Event Center that was meant to replace them and to pursue a full renovation of the existing complex instead (Cumberland County). In May 2026, CityView reported that commissioners hired T.A. Loving of Goldsboro and Metcon of Pembroke to renovate the Arena event space and Theatre auditorium, with SfL+a Architects designing the work. The county manager said a completion date had not been set. Google Maps lists the Crown Theater as temporarily closed, so if a ticket names the Theatre or Arena, confirm the location with the Ticket Office.
Address and Directions
The complex is at 1960 Coliseum Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28306. The directions page tells drivers heading north on Interstate 95 to take Exit 40 (I-95 Business N/US-301 N). Traffic for major events enters from the Owen Drive side, and for big ticketed events all three entrances to the complex are open.

Crown Complex Parking
Parking is free. The official site says "Parking at the Crown Complex is always complimentary," with lots reached from several surrounding streets. For Coliseum events, lots off the north, east and west entrances serve the building. Suite holders park in the West VIP lot, and the North VIP lot is the most convenient spot for buying tickets at the box office on a weekday. Doors generally open one hour before the scheduled start, according to the FAQ page, so arrive early on sellout nights to beat the line at the gates.
Bag Policy and Venue Rules
The venue policies page sets out the rules for most events:
- Allowed bags: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches; one-gallon clear freezer bags; small clutches up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches; and medically necessary items.
- Not allowed: backpacks, briefcases and diaper bags. Diapers and baby supplies can be carried in a clear bag.
- Prohibited items: weapons of any type, including pocketknives and firearms; outside food and drink; bottles, cans and coolers.
- No re-entry. Once you leave, you cannot come back in.
- Smoke-free campus. Smoking and tobacco use are banned inside and within 25 feet of any entrance.
- Recording: audio, video and digital recording devices, including GoPros, are generally prohibited. Camera rules for Marksmen games and some other events allow certain small point-and-shoot cameras, and each event can set its own rules.
The FAQ page notes ATMs in each venue. Lost items are handled through the Boomerang online form linked from the FAQ.
Box Office and Tickets
The Ticket Office at the Coliseum's north-side main entrance is open:
- Weekdays: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sundays: closed unless there is an event
Closing time can vary when a ticketed event is scheduled. The box office accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash. The Crown Complex states that "Ticketmaster is the only safe platform of purchase recognized by Crown Complex" and warns that tickets bought elsewhere may not be legitimate. The Events menu also links pages on military discounts and group sales, which are worth checking in a Fort Bragg town.

- Fayetteville Marksmen team page: hockey home games at the Coliseum.
- Cumberland County Fair: the fair has its own page under the official site's Events menu.
