Spring Lake, NC Restaurants & Things to Do (2026)

Spring Lake sits on Bragg Boulevard north of Fayetteville, and most of its restaurants line that road or the older Main Street a few blocks east. The food scene reflects a town next to Fort Bragg: Korean, Thai and Caribbean kitchens sit beside a long-running pizzeria, an Italian dining room and Mexican grills. Pizza and Italian

Brooklyn Pizzeria

Brooklyn Pizzeria on North Bragg Boulevard makes hand-stretched New York-style pies with fresh mozzarella and sauce made daily, according to its site, which dates the shop to 1992. It offers dine-in, pickup and limited delivery and is closed Sundays. It is a separate business from the Brooklyn Pizzeria on Ramsey Street covered in the Fayetteville pizza guide.

La Vista Italian Restaurant

A few doors down, La Vista has the broader menu: pizza, pasta, calzones, subs, salads, wings and gyros, with curbside pickup. It suits a family dinner when not everyone wants pizza.

Mexican

El Tucan on South Bragg Boulevard serves fajitas, tacos and margaritas and is closed Sundays. Guacaholic Mexican Grill and Bar in the Skyland Shopping Center adds a full bar and is open seven days. Skyland has local history of its own: the town says the land held the Starlight Drive-In Theater from 1952 before the shopping center opened in 1964. Korean, Thai and Southeast Asian

Spring Lake punches above its size for Asian food.

• Korean: Nak Won Korean Restaurant at 138 N Main St and K-Food Seoul at 600 N Bragg Blvd are both well reviewed on Google. Neither keeps a standalone website, so call ahead or check their Google listings for hours.
• Thai: Mai's Thai Express on Lillington Highway serves curries, noodles and soups with vegetarian options and is closed Wednesdays. Sawaddee at 1006 N Bragg Blvd is the sit-down Thai alternative, and it posts updates on Facebook.
• Cambodian: Rice, Roots & Rolls, in the same building as Sawaddee, is a small, locally owned Cambodian and Southeast Asian kitchen that also caters.

Caribbean, Comfort Food and Barbecue

• Caribbean: Troy's Caribbean Kitchen and Navariah's Kitchen share 1114 N Bragg Blvd, and Island Boys Restaurant & Market is on North Main Street. All three are small counters best checked on Google before a visit.
• Sandwiches and fried fish: Legacy Rolls at 1161 N Bragg Blvd is a sandwich shop whose reviews highlight its burgers and catfish.
• Breakfast: Cedar Point Restaurant at 997 N Bragg Blvd is a family restaurant that serves breakfast.
• Barbecue and meat: Noble Meats & Eatery at 2469 Lillington Hwy combines a barbecue restaurant with a butcher counter.

Getting to Fort Bragg From Spring Lake

Bragg Boulevard runs through Spring Lake and connects it with Fort Bragg and Fayetteville, which is why the town has long served soldiers and their families. Gate access changed in summer 2026. The All American Gate and the adjacent freeway section closed on July 27, 2026, for roughly two years of infrastructure work, according to Distinctly Fayetteville. Butner Road and Manchester Road gates are listed with limited daily hours, while Yadkin Road, Honeycutt Road and several other gates are listed as open around the clock.

Parks and Outdoor Things to Do

Carvers Creek State Park

Carvers Creek State Park is the area's standout outdoor draw, and day use is free. It has two separate accesses:

• Long Valley Farm Access at 2505 Long Valley Rd, Spring Lake: the former winter retreat of James Stillman Rockefeller, with about 3 miles of trails, picnicking, fishing and a millpond with a pavilion looking across to the Rockefeller House.
• Sandhills Access at 995 McCloskey Rd, Fayetteville: about 10.5 miles of hiking, biking and horse trails through longleaf pine.

Spring Lake Splash Pad

The town's Splash Pad at 245 Ruth St runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It shares its grounds with the town's recreation community building, a quarter-mile paved walking trail and a playground, plus covered picnic tables and restrooms with changing tables. There is no lifeguard, and adults must supervise children under 15.

Edward Mendoza Municipal Park

Edward Mendoza Municipal Park at 1774 Little River Rd is another municipal recreation park in Spring Lake. Check the town's recreation page for programs before you go.

Main Street and Town Events

Main Street grew out of the Old Plank Road of the 1800s and stayed the town's main road until the Bragg Boulevard bypass was built in 1942, according to the town's fun facts page. The town was incorporated in 1951. Today Main Street hosts First Friday on Main, an evening of music, food and shopping that the town promotes on its events calendar.
